Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what the SBTI Personality Test processes directly and what may be processed by the hosting, analytics, and advertising services used on the site.

1. Data Controller

This service is operated by the SBTI Team. For privacy-related inquiries, please contact us at sbti.support@gmail.com.

2. Test Answers and Direct Identifiers

The test does not require an account, name, email address, or phone number. Question answers and scoring are processed in the browser and are not saved by our application server. When the test is completed, the resulting type code may be sent separately for aggregate statistics as described below.

3. Anonymous Statistics Data

When a user completes the test, our application may store the resulting type code (for example, "CTRL" or "BOSS") and an aggregate count. We do not intentionally attach a name, account, or contact detail to that result. Standard request information may also be processed by our hosting and security providers when the request is delivered.

4. Cookies and Third-Party Services

The site uses or may use the following third-party services. These providers may process cookies, IP addresses, browser or device information, approximate location, page views, referral information, and interaction events under their own policies:

  • Google AdSense: AdSense code is installed for site verification and, after approval, may be used to serve ads. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, and personalization where permitted. You can manage personalized advertising in Google Ad Settings.
  • Google Analytics (ID: G-X6YQ9EX85C): We use Google Analytics to understand page views, sessions, traffic sources, and site usage. For details, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
  • Vercel and Vercel Analytics: Vercel hosts the site and provides performance and usage analytics. It may process standard request, device, and performance information to deliver, secure, and measure the service.

5. Consent and Cookie Controls

Where required, users may be shown a consent message for advertising and analytics choices. Users can also control or delete cookies through their browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect analytics, advertising, or certain site features.

  • Chrome: Settings > Privacy and security > Third-party cookies
  • Safari: Settings > Safari > Advanced > Block all cookies
  • Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data

6. Data Retention

Aggregate type counts are retained while needed to operate the live statistics feature. Data processed by Vercel, Google Analytics, or Google AdSense follows the applicable provider settings and retention policies. We review requests concerning data controlled by us at the contact address below.

7. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right of access: Request information about the data we process about you.
  • Right to erasure: Request deletion of your personal data.
  • Right to opt-out: Opt out of personalized advertising through your browser settings or Google Ad Settings.
  • Right to data portability: Request a copy of your data in a machine-readable format.

Requests concerning data controlled directly by us can be sent to sbti.support@gmail.com. For data controlled by a third-party provider, its privacy controls and request process may also apply.

8. Third-Party Websites

When navigating to external websites through links or banner ads on our site, the privacy policies of those respective websites will apply. We are not responsible for the content or practices of external sites.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage users to periodically review this page for the latest information on our privacy practices.
